The Full Story
Anchitta Noowong (Kitty) is an award-winning filmmaker. Her short documentary Not Yours won Juror’s First Place Winner in the student film category at ACT Human Rights Film Festival in 2017. Her recent short Sleepover was an official selection of "one of the coolest film festivals in the world", the Portland Film Festival. Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Anchitta came to America to pursue a career in the film industry. She recently completed her BA in Film at Portland State University. Anchitta's biggest influence in her life is her mother, which motivates her to tell stories about the female experience—especially those stories which are underrepresented.
